About Devavo

Built against a drawing, not pulled off a shelf

Devavo Aluminium & Glass fabricates custom aluminium products for homes, complexes and commercial sites — doors, security gates, driveway gates, sliding systems and garage doors, each cut and welded to the opening it's going into.

We size the finish to the building it's protecting: anodised and powder-coated aluminium chosen to resist Gqeberha's salt air, hardware selected for daily use rather than a showroom shelf, and glazing specified for the safety standard the opening requires.

Nothing leaves the workshop until it's been checked against the drawing that started it.

What We Do

Three ways we put aluminium to work

From a single replacement door to a full production run of matching gates, our workshop covers fabrication, one-off production, and trade supply.

01

Aluminium Fabrication

Extrusions, structural sections, sheet and framing cut, mitred and welded to your drawing and site measurements.

02

Custom Production

One-off gates, pivot doors and window systems built to exact measurements, patterns and finishes — no two openings alike.

03

04

Quality Check

Custom Solutions

Non-standard sizes and bespoke patterns, built to spec

Not every opening is a standard size, and not every client wants a standard pattern. Our workshop takes on bespoke geometric door panels, starburst and diamond motifs, oversized driveway gates and non-standard garage doors — fabricated to the exact technical specification a project requires.

If it can be drawn and measured, it can be built.

Quality & Standards

Checked at every stage, not just at the end

Material grade, safety and finish are decided before cutting starts, and confirmed again before a piece leaves the workshop.

01 · Material Grading

Aluminium and glass matched to the job

Structural-grade aluminium sections

Profile and wall thickness selected for the span and load of each frame, gate or door.

Safety-rated glazing

Toughened and laminated glass specified for door panels and openings where impact safety applies.

Coastal-rated finishing

Powder-coat and anodised finishes chosen to resist the salt air and UV exposure typical of Gqeberha.

02 · Safety Protocols

In the workshop and on site

Controlled workshop handling

Cutting, welding and glazing carried out in a dedicated workshop area with protective equipment in use throughout.

Secure fixing methods

Gates, frames and garage doors fixed and load-tested for their opening before handover.

Site safety on installation

Installation teams work to standard site safety practice around glazing, power tools and site access.

03 · Manufacturing QA

Nothing ships without a check

Dimensional check against drawing

Every frame and panel measured against the original technical drawing before finishing.

Weld and joint inspection

Structural joints inspected for consistency and strength before glazing or finishing begins.

Hardware & operation test

Locks, hinges, rollers and handles tested for smooth operation before dispatch and again at handover.
